Glamour Factory by Victor & RolfVictor & Rolf recently showed their new collection, Glamour Factory. The Fall Winter collection for 2010 / 2011 was presented in collaboration with Studio Job. The show started off with a fully dressed Kirsten McMenamy, wearing up to 23 layers. McMenamy remained the centre piece throughout the show. That's a lot of weight on your shoulders. Once taken her position on the rotating carrousel, Victor & Rolf started undressing McMenamy and simultaneous redressing the other models. With every beat a new layer was transformed into a masterpiece, making the show a perfectly executed work of performance art. The visuals of the Glamour Factory are absolutely stunning. A graphic print of grey and white industrial tools totally covers the runway, giving the high fashion outfits a really bold look. I am not sure I'd want to try this at home, but it might for those who insist on taking only hand luggage when traveling. Reageren |
